NoSHA Apartments

This building and on-site management have continued to exceed my expectations - I've lived here for about six months and have no complaints. I love the big windows in my unit and the building has a cool rooftop lounge and outdoor terrace with nice views. Also great location close to U Street and 14th Street.

I've been living here for over a year and just renewed my lease. The management has been very good - I’ve lived in two prior "luxury" apartment buildings in DC and I feel like I’m getting the same quality of living here, but at a much better price. The fitness center is smaller, but I primarily use it for cardio and its almost always empty. The rooftop spaces are actually pretty big for the size of the building – and again they are usually empty because the building is only like 50 units. Much smaller than my last two apartment buildings. Everything is clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

My new apartment at NoSHA is great! I looked at a bunch of different buildings in Shaw but they were all too big and unfriendly. I like the feel of a smaller apartment building where I can get to know my neighbors. Everything is new and clean. The finishes in my apartment are top-notch and I love the rooftop lounge and terrace. Albert the property manager was very helpful when I moved in and super friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the action on U Street, have the convenience of Whole Foods 2 blcks away, and still be on a quiet street!

Please don’t move here. Just don’t. If I could give this place zero stars I would. By far one of the most disappointing experiences. I bypassed the reviews thinking my experience would be different. My mistake for thinking that. If you’re a young professional, 30+ you won’t like it. The building reeks of cigarettes and weed. People that don’t pay for parking park in your $300 spot half the time. Constantly stressed when I take my car out of a spot I PAY FOR, I won’t have a place to park. You hear every single noise between floors. Every, single, noise. They claim concrete between the floors but no, you hear everything. If you’re sensitive to noise, best of luck to you. The apartments only have one window that opens about 1/4 of the way. Meaning, the ventilation is terrible and the apartmen
