After nine months, & multiple times being outbidded, declining a house where my bid was accepted because the owner wanted to stay for two months after closing for free, and declining a house due to a bad inspection, I finally found “the one”. I was fortunate to have worked with two agents, Joanne and Missy. Both have a wealth of information and experience. They knew exactly what I wanted and when they saw a house that fit, they would proactively make the earliest appointment. They also accommodated engineer’s visits, which were scheduled prior to bidding & entering the due diligence phase.(I didn’t want to lose $10,000-$20,000 due diligence money if a major structural Issue was discovered.) This extra step saved me from getting stuck with a house with major issues. W
