Northpoint Asset Management

We tried to tour a home managed by Northpoint. We saw the property on Zillow and were excited that it was a self led tour. After entering the property we were DISGUSTED. I have never toured a home so dirty, there were used bars of soap in the shower, mail all over the floor, half drank modelos and 2 liters everywhere, food in the trashes, dirty diapers left. It may have been a cool property, but I have no idea because I couldn’t get past the absolute mess it was left in. I could not wrap my head around paying almost 3k a month for this. we were disappointed in the condition of the home as we were in the area seriously looking for a move in ready location. The pictures listed were clearly from prior to the previous tenants.

Northpoint was our property manager for our condo for 8 years. They will overpromise and not deliver on in person property inspections, you'll be lucky to get one done a year. We went three years without an in person property inspection and had to nag constantly to get it done over a period of 6 months with the regional manager, but they charged us the full management fee anyway and basically all they were doing is collecting rent. They don't do annual market analysis for the owners as promised, In 8 years we had only two of those done and found out a were literally $ 500.00 under market on the amount we were charging. We ended our contract with them and were charged a management fee which took two months for them to credit it back to us once notified. They also lost our property keys and

Northpoint has some serious management issues! Stayed at a house for a year and went through 3 property managers cuz they kept getting fired, and then the move out they charged us for some ridiculous things that we never touched or that were that way on move in. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Northpoint Asset Management and specifically Misty Anderson and here’s why: I was living in a very unsafe and dilapidated apartment building that had been passed from one slumlord to the next until Northpoint and Misty took over. She was the first property manager to actually come to the building to assess it. Upon doing so, she told me that there was a better place available for me and my kids to move to. And she wasn’t kidding. Before I knew it, I was signing my lease and in my new and indeed better apartment. My kids and I were safe and all because of the compassion and professionalism of Misty Anderson. She has been incredibly helpful and responsive to any and all issues or questions I have had.
