We lived here from September 2021 until September 2025, and the way we were treated when moving out was both criminal and the worst housing experience of my life. We had an active lease through September 30th, and returned on September 7th after taking a couple days break for a trip planned months prior, while we were still in the process of moving out, to find they: 1. Illegally entered our unit 2. Changed the locks, performing an illegal lock out 3. Destroyed and stole belongings in excess of $1000, which is a felony 4. Illegally breached our lease contract In our time at Northplace we were perfect tenants, never missing a payment or causing issues, and in return our belongings were stolen by the staff only a couple weeks after informing them we would be moving out at the end of our acti

I've been one of the first tenants here since the complex was constructed. The area is overall tranquil and pleasant. Maintenance requests have always been taken care of effortlessly and quickly. They are all also wonderful and pleasant to work with, thank you awesome maintenance crew! The staff have been friendly and welcoming. Huge shout to Giselle for always taking care of my needs and being prompt with communication. I appreciate her professionalism. A few things to keep in mind, the rent is pretty elevated for what it offers in terms of luxury. Limited closet space, it could be more well insulated, and some features could be more updated to fit the description of luxury. Nonetheless, it is a well maintained complex and the area in Salem is a plus. I do recommend anyone to take a look

Wonderful leasing office! The management is kind, supportive, and helped me choose the best apartment option. They assisted with every application step and were flexible with my move-in date. Very positive experience.

I was driving by this property, the curb appeal immediately caught my attention. I popped in to see if they could provide a tour real quick. Of course, as many do when deciding to relocate you have several questions. Both Daniel and Amiya were able to answer just about any question I had regarding deposits, move in cost and availability. While in the leasing office, I was greatly impressed with the knowledge of the property and units, the professionalism and inviting environment I experienced while there. Although the property was beautiful, and aligned with the price range I was looking to stay with in, it wasn’t in the school district I was looking for. I have lived here for two years and have loved being a resident here. You follow the rules and do what’s right then you have no issues and honestly at first was a little rough but with the manager Alfredo now it is so much more positive around the office he is a very kind and caring manager and it makes a difference in how tenants are handled and respected!! The office staff is helpful and always professional and if they cannot help they will find someone who can. The maintenance crew especially Gary have gone above and beyond to help when things got messed up with power company in my building to keeping professionalism within the complex and are always friendly and respectful. I highly recommend these apartments and are pet friendly.
