Extremely disappointing experience with NexGen Home Inspections, Inc. Contacted them in July 2024 for a new home inspection & wind mitigation report so I could shop for new homeowner's insurance since my premiums were skyrocketing due to the insurance crisis here in Florida. His report stated my roof did not meet the hurricane standards of 3# straps/nails that would have saved me thousands of dollars on a new homeowner's insurance policy. Instead, I was forced to take a substandard policy with terrible coverage and go through another hurricane season hoping we would not be impacted. In March 2025, I contacted my roofer who had installed my roof in Dec 2022 and inquired about the type of roof I had and did it meet the hurricane standards.
