Juan has been an excellent member of the Newport North maintenance team. He goes above and beyond every time. Out of all the apartments that my wife and I have lived at, he is by far the greatest staff member we’ve dealt with. He always ensures that we are taken care of and always asks if there’s anything else he can help with. We really appreciate the extra effort that he puts in, time and time again. We are very appreciative to have someone like Juan around to help!

Shoutout to Juan in Maintenance! We’ve had several maintenance requests during our time at Newport North, and Juan has always been exceptional. He’s professional, friendly, and goes the extra mile every time. Recently, he came out late at night to handle an urgent issue — and did so with complete professionalism and care. Juan always takes the time to explain what’s going on and makes sure the job is done right. We truly appreciate his outstanding service — residents like us really notice and value it!

At first glance, this complex looks great - nice units and good amenities - but the experience of living here has been incredibly frustrating. Do not move into a unit where balcony or railing construction is still ongoing. We were told it was “minor work” during lease signing and they brushed over it, but it turned out to be a full-blown construction project with demolition, jackhammering, and welding that lasted over two months. Something was stolen from our patio during this, with zero accountability from management. The whole area turns into a construction site, with crews taking up all the nearby parking and even the grassy areas where dogs go. They leave behind debris and staples on the ground (see pictures below), and the “compensation” they offer is about $200 — it’s absolutely not

I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to look elsewhere. What’s worse, when tenants try to move out, the landlord makes the process incredibly difficult and pursues excessive charges—sometimes in the hundreds or even thousands of dollars—against former tenants. It feels like there’s no way to leave without being hit with unreasonable financial demands. If you value transparency, fair treatment, and a landlord who respects the lease agreement, I would recommend searching elsewhere. This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience.

Huge shout out to the maintenance staff who are so responsive and personable. I'd like to especially call out Juan who has been helping us with our ongoing breaker problems. He walks us through how the system works and is super patient. He always makes sure we feel taken care of and I trust his input exponentially! 10/10 :)
