Newbury Square Apartments

These apartments are disgusting, pest and rodent filled regardless of cleanliness, place is falling apart, mold everywhere they’ll just paint over it (if they ever get to it) their fines are outrageous over things that are MANAGEMENTS fault, they lose your rent checks and money and try to blame you for not paying your rent or if they “magically find” it they say it was not submitted on time so late fees are tackled, if you speak up, you are threatened with 30 day removal and court, this place is a dump, oooooh and the cherry on top. You can’t actually speak with the management face to face because their excuse to not deal with you is “covid” by saying you need to call the office from outside the door and you need a mask. As a potential resident there are a few issues that might be a deal breaker depending on the person. During the summer season having to pay an extra $50 per month for the window a/c unit. Keep in mind that the one unit is in the living room so doors will need to remain open to cool the other rooms. The apartments are nice if not a little on the small side for the price. The major plus it's that all utilities are included. Also you will need to not be bothered by people hanging outside the building.

PARKING here is SOOOO bad!! I have heard neighbors say they sleep in their cars because they can not find parking. If you plan to come home after 6pm, you will not find ANY parking!! Also, they sell reserved parkings to a few people and the rest are left to fend for themselves. Management also has a tendency to block parking spots with random things like machinery or trash cans. You can't even park in the streets nearby because those are for house residents only. Management really has to do something about this because it is ridiculous. Otherwise, please take this into consideration before you move here. It is a very stressful situation. :(

Moved in oct 1st 2021, for the first 2 and a half months up after Christmas I had no central heating. There's rodents and coaches running around. Power been going in and out since end of November. Half of my power like my bedroom, bathroom, part of the living room and my refrigerator power goes out for sometimes 15-30 mins to an hour. You'll email the front desk about the issues and they make it seem like you're the problem. Now that I have central heating, my shower doesn't get hot like it used to. It snowed yesterday on jan 3rd, instead of throwing salt out to maintenance the sidewalk, they didn't do anything till today later in the evening. My daughter fell in the morning and around noon they put notice about be careful of ice. Later that day they finally clear it with salt. They won'

I recommend not moving into these apartments due to their poor service. The management consistently fails to address maintenance issues and repair requests
