My experience with a NY Habitat agent was wonderful. I required an apartment in Paris for at least one year, plus l had definite needs and desires. Not only did their Paris/London agent Charles Rearden search diligently for a year for me, (l always start far in advance!) he stayed in contact with me in a timely manner, answering questions, contacting many landlords, and appraising me of their responses and reasons for not wanting to rent to me (too far in advance, not wanting to rent for that length of time, etc.). He went above and beyond the "norm" of a rental agent by being supportive and encouraging me that my dream could and would be achieved. New York Habitat, according to my own experience, is a great platform to search your short-term rental apartment. I had an excellent support from one of its members Nicholas Pugliese ("Nick") that allowed me to find an apartment according to my standards in the area of Harlem, in record time.

We worked with New York habitat, and Nicholas Pugliese on a furnished apt in the summer of 2025 on the upper west side. We were coming from out of state and needed help along the way to find something that was suitable for us. We actually ran into a problem with one Unit that wasn’t as advertised. Quite common. Nick was amazing through the entire process and he helped us move and find something that was appropriate and was our advocate all along the way with the landlord. For personal reasons, we actually had to leave before lease was done and he was instrumental and getting the landlord to only charge us for the time we were there and made sure that we got the security deposit back. He couldn’t be any better or more professional. I give him the highest recommendation.

Even though I ended up moving to another state, I truly appreciated their dedication and friendly service.
