Coming to visit Urby for the first time, I was really impressed with how welcoming and well run the building is. Right away, the concierge staff stood out. Catherine was incredibly warm and friendly and took the time to chat, which immediately made the place feel comfortable and inviting. Jai brought the same great energy and positivity and was always smiling and helpful whenever we passed by. It’s easy to see that a lot of care goes into keeping everything running smoothly. The building feels clean, safe, and thoughtfully managed, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. The amenities are already great, and adding a sauna or steam room would be an awesome touch that would take the experience even further. I moved into Urby in October and I’ve genuinely had such a great experience so far. From day one, the team here has made everything feel seamless, welcoming, and personal. I have to give a HUGE shout-out to Katherine at the front desk — she is truly a gem. We’re always chatting about art, TV shows, fashion, and all the fun happenings around DC, and she is unbelievably sweet to my dog, Tucker. He literally pulls me toward the lobby just to say hi to her. It’s the little things like that that make a building feel like home. Leasing at Urby Navy Yard was hands-down one of the smoothest and most enjoyable apartment-hunting experiences I’ve ever had - and that’s entirely thanks to Tezin, the absolute star of the leasing team. The Urby is a terrific building! It’s stylish, sustainable, has top rate amenities and a staff that are attentive, friendly and highly competent. It is a very warm and inviting place complete with coy pond, cafe, a hidden speak easy for events, roof deck bar-b-que, pool, pet spa, bike storage, and quite possible the best equipped and largest gym in yards park. Oh and not to mention a view into Nat’s stadium! The apartments are beautifully laid out, sunny, and have really nice finishes and fixtures. If you’re looking for a healthy, sustainable, well maintained building with an excellent staff, then do yourself a favor and take a look at the Urby! Great location, super place to live!

Living at Urby has truly been a wonderful experience. One of the highlights of my day is walking through the door and being greeted by the amazing concierge staff. Catherine always welcomes me with a smile, asks about my day, and makes sure my puppy gets a treat. She genuinely makes living in DC feel like home. Jai also adds so much positivity to the building. She is always cheerful, friendly, and ready to help however she can, which makes a big difference day to day. The maintenance team has been fantastic as well. David makes everything completely stress free. If something ever needs fixing, I know it will be taken care of quickly and efficiently while I am at work.
