Murray Hill Apartments

Management is unprofessional. Booked twice to see this place using the calendar links the agent Mike sent that only offer weekend options. Cool. We rearrange our entire weekend schedule for this. Both times, received messages on the morning of the appt that they have to cancel. If this is a glimpse of how reliable this place could be, then I guess it’s good to see these red flags now than later. If the agents are overworked and need more help covering the workload, then hire more people.

The only reason I am even giving 2 stars is because Mike and the other maintenance guys were great 99% of the time. However the ceiling in my bathroom collapsed due to a long developing leak from the apartment above mine. I reported seeing a crack in my ceiling in December, and the ceiling finally gave way in May. The collapse missed landing on my head by just a few moments, so luckily no injuries. But the repairs took awhile, I just had a trash bag as a ceiling for awhile. When I reached out to the realty company, Tuli, I was met with a very cold response and very bluntly told I would not receive so much as a free month of garage rental ($50) for the mishap. So to recap….major ceiling collapse I had predicted and warned about 5 months prior, narrowly missed the collapse being on my head,

Lived here for 3 years and had a pleasant experience. Amenities are low. No centralized air conditioning and no washer drier in unit. But the apartment manager Michael Cox (Mike) is awesome!!! He is always there when u need. Even if it is in the middle of the night. We had a tough time with our two young kids when we moved here for the first time, but Mike was very patient and kind with us. Gave us all the support to settle in. All the best Mike..!!

Disregard any negative reviews about the Murray Hill Apartments. When the time came to look for a new apartment I heard so many horror stories about property management companies and managers. The Murray Hill Apartments feature the opposite of all that. Tuli Reality was always extremely responsive and took action whenever something was needed. In addition the onsite team of Mike and his guys couldn't have been more nice, understanding, and responsive whenever there was an issue. The apartments are located in a great suburban neighborhood with NJ Transit trains to NYC right across the street. For the price, the apartments are a great deal for anyone.

Stay away.. Costly and worst Management ever seen 1) Recent Management did not clean snow in last winter even there was only single storm. 2) When tenant vacate apartment, management reimburse all cleaning and painting cost from previous tenant.. no matter how well you clean and maintain 60 year old apartment. Management charged me $500+ after I vacate apartment the way I received from previous management - Segal and Segal. I heard the same story for other 5-6 tenants who had vacated apartments after March 2016. 3) Heat and hot-water is major issue if apartment is far from boiler room and uphill side on Southgate road 4) Maintenance is worst. 5) Very costly and no washer and dryer in unit.
