Munroe Towers

Security is non-existent. Police are here regularly and nothing changes in terms of safety protocols. Breakdowns are constant. Currently the intercome system is out of order requiring residents to go downstairs to let deliver people, guests, etc. in. Management's response is a word salad that makes no sense. "We're working on it" is the constant refrain. Maintenance people are WONDERFUL. Management is unresponsive. E-mails go into a black hole.

Whatever they did I'm not involved. Im an honest loving person with some defects but I do not predortize on anyone!!

Have been living here for a little over three years now. Absolutely in love with the community that has been built here. I've made some life long best friends, and it always feels like home. The day I moved in a gentleman was moving out on my floor - he was a resident for over 30 years. Many life long residents are still here, and several nice residents have moved in recently. I have been a resident under the previous management team (Michelle O, who was incredible) and also the equally incredible current team of Zaida Garcia and Equaina Collins. Zaida and Equaina always greet you with a smile and they are committed to continual improvements while listening to the tenants. Our 24 hour team at the door keep us safe and become extended family. I remember when these apartments were $500/month… then $840… now $2k+ It doesn’t look like much has been done from the outside to the buildings, same garbage all over, security door was open. Lobby was about 80 degrees and nasty. That said, I had an appointment to view a 2 bedroom listed around $2200/month. Sounded great for this market…. Took a chunk of my day to come over and tour. The building manager dodged me. No one showed up. She wasn’t in the office. I spoke to a tenant who said “run.” Apparently the property management is often unreachable, and I was told “for the price this place has an element.” I called the property manager who claims she had an “emergency.” If you have appointments scheduled with working people, you email them. UPDATE: A years long paper trail of being ignored and mistreated isn't a "perception". The idea that I'd find being ignored and retaliated against (which they continue to do) "positive" shows how big of a joke they are. Even worse again is that they're basically admitting outright now that they won't talk on the record. Scary! NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE. Ownwrship changed in summer 2019 I think, so ignore reviews from before then. It's been absolutely miserable ever since.
