Mt Pleasant Village

I have lived at this property since 2012 and have been very happy here. The apartments are spacious with big bay windows and large closets. The property is quiet, and maintenance is always quick to respond. There are plenty of nearby stores like ShopRite, CVS, and Walgreens, as well as a bus stop. Recently, I wanted to upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment and ran into a few challenges. Michael went above and beyond, he guided me through the process, kept in constant communication, and really made me feel supported. Thanks to his help, I was able to get approved and secure my new apartment. I am very grateful to Michael for making the transition smooth, I think the property is lucky to have someone so dedicated on their team.

I have been living at Mount Pleasant Village apts for over 3 yrs now. I had my 1st encounter with the property manager Marc Diggs. I can't say enough about him! Answered all my Emails ASAP. His professionalism and mannerism was amazing, As well as getting to what needed to get done. ASAP! He made everything easy and did so in a timely and prompt manner! Can't thank him enough! We leaved here for few years. In the beginning they use to shampoo clean carpet in the common areas however from covid onwards they stopped maintaining it and one can see pets urine on carpets and spots all over the place. Many complained about loud noises from neighbots apartment but management did nothing. Eventually, We left this place because it has turned into horrible place.

I really love my apartment. For the price, the space is amazing. If you maintain and spray pesticides properly, there will be no roaches or any other issues. However, the amount of packages that have been stolen in this building is insane. There are pictures from amazon and other vendors of my packages and once I go to grab it, it’s gone. I called the office to complain and they just said call the company and get your refund. There is no security. It’s just sad how many things have been stolen.

Scroll through all the bad reviews and you'll see a common theme. All of them are accurate. No temp control in apartment, gets over 85 degrees in colder months so need to have windows open. Even when it starts getting warmer they don't lower the temp so opening the window has little to no effect so you'll need a window ac unit to offset the temp which is more money on your electric bill. You'll be lucky to get a good neighbor above you if you're on the lower or middle level, either way you'll hear every foot step they make and if they have children.....well you'll know what it's like to have earthquakes in your apartment from all the shaking that occurs from them running around.
