Got a mediocre rate and they sold our loan within a year. If you think you are doing the right thing by using a local lender that you can follow up with down the road, think again. They sell your loan to highest bidder at first chance they get. Our current mortgage company is from California. Do your due diligence and shop online and have banks compete for your loan. Youll get a better loan and they were going to sell it anyway!
