We bought a home from Stanley Martin a year ago. I had heard horror stories about Stanley Martin so I was afraid I had made a bad choice. No - it was a great experience! Starting with the SM sales agent (Lori Canning) and then with our neighborhood construction manager, David Jacobs. They were fabulous! Throughout the process, we had some issues, some big, some little, some medium BUT between the two of them, they fixed or resolved EVERY item we raised, satisfactorily and timely. I'm not saying everything was perfect from the jump, but it's not realistic to think that would happen We're a year in, and we are very happy with our new home. We have no construction issues, a quality house, with a GREAT view of the golf course, and we felt we got a fair price. My experience was that SM would wo
