Morningside Apartments

Lived here for 3 years. Their services declined. Originally it was very clean and management was awesome. However they began allowing people to have pets and it got out of control. The current manager never honored office hours she either opened late or closed early. Parking was also an issue. The neighborhood is very calm and rent was reasonable and I wasn’t staying there long term. Be aware that they will not return deposits I never had pets but was charged for supposed “pet damage. “ We asked about the breaking the lease and said don’t worry we already rented your apartment. When we moved out we learned we were charged for leaving early despite she saying it wouldn’t be an issue.

Just moved in at the beginning of this year. Advised management about my emotional support pet, stated it was okay and never gave any further information until they saw my dog. All of a sudden it became an issue and the “owner” was not accepting of his breed which is against the law because he is an emotional support pet so they cannot deny him unless he is a nuisance. They also tried having me get pet insurance which is also against the law. Wait it gets better. Online rent says $975 and they are charging me $1000? False advertising too! Other than that I have no issues with the complex. The tenants are respectful, quiet and clean.

I lived here for roughly a year. Rent was reasonable, management was friendly and inviting. In the rare event that I had a minor maintenance issue, I received a prompt response. Premises was always well maintained and safe, no security issues or anything like that. Better yet, no pests!! Wouldn't have wanted to leave if I wasn't moving out of town for work.

I do not recommend no one to live here they are not honest about giving your deposit back I put $1,300 down and I only got $84 they told me there was resent in the bathroom I know smoking apartment they show me no photos that was just excuse not to give me my money back and the apartments not worth it supposed to be brand new apartments and they got cracks in the walls and they paint the whole apartment when I move out and they're charging me for that while I was there for three years and so they only had one barbecue grill there and is over 1,000 residents there no playground for the kids no swimming pool they raise the rent every year the owners greedy and he don't pay the watershed like the apartments does it's not worth the price they charge you there

Lady that answered the phone. Super rude, wasn't even helpful to find apartment.
