⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service – Carlos Is Truly Exceptional I cannot say enough incredible things about Carlos at the leasing office. I came in with a time-sensitive situation and was under a lot of pressure, unable to make it to a library to print a few important documents. Without hesitation, Carlos stepped in and helped me immediately. He was more than happy to assist, got the papers I needed right away, and sent me on my way so I could continue handling the rest of my day. That level of responsiveness and care made a huge difference for me. What makes this experience even more meaningful is that this is not a one-time occurrence. Carlos the property manager or leasing agent is not sure his title here at the Monterey Lake Apartments but he is one awesome dude! He has helped me out so much with my sickly mother in law and made it happen asap I am glad they have such great service here at these apartments. This company actually cares for the people! Thanks!

I’ll begin by discussing the major mold problem this place is apparently KNOWN to have. When we first moved in I noticed a weird appearance to the vents, I did not think anything of it until I started to find mold in the bathroom when I was taking a bath. I found mold in the tub and under the sink and in the air vents. so I let management know and they sent the maintenance "manager" to check things out. he told me straight to my face that it was not mold... they did have a "company" come out and "clean" the air vents that took weeks due to poor communication from office staff and the "company" not showing up. I lived in this apartment complex back in 2014 and 2015. I would always remember it as the first home my husband and I shared when I moved to Orlando. However the reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because on several occasions the maintenance man came inside without previous notice, apparently the building manager gave keys to all apartments to him, we had a few arguments with them about this, as it was a violation of privacy, even if we are renting nobody should just open your front door and come in. My other issue was the extremely bad smell from the mold. And while pregnant I could smell it a thousand times more that's the main reason we left, my nausea was already a constant thing and the mold smell made it much worse.
