Montecito

This is a good apartment to stay in but their leasing office is incompetent. We are still due our share of the deposit that they owe us post move-out. We still haven’t received our check since moving out, everytime I call them they make excuses about sending the check to our address and everytime it fails reaching us. Even though we have provided them with the correct address on multiple occasions! We get our forwarded mails on time everytime, surprising how we never got our check. People moving in here, this is a good safe community to live in but it really matters how well a community smoothens the move out process INCLUDING THE DEPOSIT RETURN PROCESS which Montecito had failed to do!!!

I love it here. My Roomate and I moved in in April and we have had 0 issues with management. The apartments are clean and nice, and the amenities are amazing. It’s seriously the perfect spot and affordable. Every time we’ve had a Maintenence request it’s fixed the same day. If you’re looking for a great apartment it’s def these 😍

I highly recommend Montecito Apartment. The staff are friendly and helpful and maintenance requests were always handled very quickly. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The apartments are kept up to date with clean and efficient appliances. I’m sad to move out of the area but if I do come back I will be looking for availability here first.

We recently applied to Montecito Apartments hoping to find a safer and more supportive environment for our young autistic son. Despite providing medical documentation for a necessary reasonable accommodation (protected under the Fair Housing Act and California FEHA), Montecito Apartments denied our application based on false and discriminatory rental reporting provided by our current landlord. Our rental history was clean until after we requested a disability accommodation, yet Montecito refused to investigate or work with us after receiving misleading information. They made no effort to verify the truth, even after we provided extensive documentation showing the accommodation was medically necessary. I absolutely love living at Montecito. Not only is the community beautiful and well maintained, the apartments are modern, and the staff is so helpful. Mirella, Jay, and Ingrid have always been so helpful and kind when answering questions and addressing issues. No complaints here.
