Monte Vista Apartment Homes

I moved into MV 5/2022 and loved it. The gym got remodeled as did the lap pool while I lived there. We did have an outrageous amount of house centipedes and spiders tho. Never any roaches like I’ve seen in other reviews. My apartment was in the very back of the complex so I was away from most of the ghetto mess until pool time anyway. I was lucky to have a direct entry garage also. I would have likely remained a tenant for awhile had I not experienced a terrible leak due to maintenance disconnecting the moisture sensor that was beeping in my laundry room instead of addressing the problem. Apparently it spread throughout the apartment and I believe there may also have been mold. I was asked to “temporarily relocate” at my own expense 8/1/25 for work they stated would be done in 3 weeks. I

Jennie, Brandi, and the entire office staff are the reason I continue to renew my lease. You can genuinely tell they care about their work and the residents. Since I moved in, the gym has been upgraded to membership quality, both pool areas have been beautifully updated, and the grounds are consistently well maintained. Maintenance is a major perk of living here. David is always making things happen. If something isn’t handled directly by his knowledgeable team, he promptly schedules a vendor and goes out of his way to ensure the work is completed quickly and that you’re happy with the result. I’ve lived and worked at several Irvine Company apartments and corporate offices and the Monte Vista team truly stands on top of the list.

Absolutely 5- Star, the best staff kind friendly helpful. I just moved in here and I absolutely love it. It’s in great location, gated, security onside, clean. It’s a great community apartments with refreshing sense of resort style without resort fees, non smoking (nice fresh air) peaceful secure with beautiful hill side view and other great views landscape, palm trees, the pool area evening lighting all part of relaxing place. The gym has all you need very nice convenient and it’s available anytime fits residence schedule. My move in and throughout the process, the office team were superb, Jacob, Jennie, Melisa, Brandi. incredible team. as I got close to move in date, Brandi provided me with detail email to clarify the steps which really helped me, the move in date smooth and another exce

I lived in Monte Vista for over four years and only moved out once I bought a house (I would have stayed longer otherwise). It's in a great location, gyms and pools are nice and convenient, and it's a quiet complex. Never had an issue with guest parking. Staff was always nice and easy to get a hold of. They were also super fair when I moved out and I got most of my deposit back. Average rent increase from 2021-2025 was 4.5% which isn't too bad. Some of the apartments have great views too! No complaints from me.

Assistant manager of maintenance, David R. did an excellent job fixing an HVAC issue that was recently discovered. On top of that, he and his staff Fadi and Sergio resolved various kitchen and bedroom issues that had come up over time. This maintenance staff is much better than in other communities we have lived. We look forward to renewing at Monte Vista. Thanks again for awesome, professional, and dedicated employees David R., Fadi and Sergio.
