Modera Sedici

We've lived at Modera Sedici for over 2 years and have loved it! The concierge team, building managers, and maintenance staff are all incredibly kind, professional, and responsive. A special shout-out to Donjaye - he always goes above and beyond and does fantastic work. The building truly feels like home thanks to the wonderful people who run it. Highly recommend!!

Specifically reviewing the “embassy side” of the building & the entire building team: this is THE best living in DC. I lived here for two years and lived beautifully. A mix of old embassy charm + renovated finishings, it’s the best of both worlds and so quintessentially “DC”. I loved how quiet and serene my apartment was, how wonderful the multiple coworking spaces are (pop into the courtyard!), the small but mighty gym fit with Technogym equipment, and most of all - the building staff!! First of all, I have to call out Don Jaye, the maintenance lead who’s always there in a matter of minutes to fix any problem big or small. Then of course the fabulous team of concierges incl. Letycia, Tatiana, and Darren who make coming home, leaving for work, grabbing packages, etc. a breeze. Ashley and

I’m so happy now that enough time has passed I can share my experience here. I had a horrible roach infestation living on the ground floor with a porch (unbeknownst to me there a significant crack that let in the roaches). the beginning of the plague: noticed roaches on my bed and late at night around the trash can, immediately emailed my management team requesting help. Nobody reached out to me to confirm they saw my request or to check on me. After I called them they came some time that afternoon with the pest control person who supposedly comes “weekly”. I had one spray, and then didn’t get the follow up they promised the following week and had to reach out again. I was told I would see an upsurge and then they would be contained. Worst place I've ever lived. Rats dancing in the ceiling, no working entry call system, garbage door broken for weeks, maintenance doesn't fix things and management is unresponsive. Great building though!

I have absolutely loved living in Modera Sedici! This apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and you can tell that it was designed with such care and attention to detail. Despite living in a studio apartment, I’ve been able to host small gatherings in the common spaces in the Embassy with my friends, which are absolutely stunning. The library and lounge are incredible for hosting, or perfect place to study or get some work done from home. The apartment also occasionally hosts events in the space which have all been very fun to attend! The rooftop terrace over on the high-rise building is also lovely on a beautiful spring or summer day, and I enjoy eating dinner out there while watching the sunset. All the neighbors here have been very respectful and quiet, and the insulation is quite good, and
