Mission Village of Jacksonville

I am writing this review based on my personal experience when I previously lived at Mission Village Apartments in Jacksonville, TX, as well as the current experience of my great aunt, who still resides there. When I lived there, maintenance issues were ongoing and often left unresolved. The facilities were not properly maintained, and promises to fix problems were frequently made but not followed through. Communication from the landlord, Tiana Bullock, was often inconsistent and lacking. Unfortunately, my great aunt is now experiencing many of the same issues. There continue to be problems with the hot water not getting hot enough, and maintenance requests are delayed or left incomplete. I actually can speak a great deal of this place. Much to my shock after seeing such a beautiful place to live well it's turned into a nightmare. People are dirty and down right very very horrid to live around. They don't care that God blessed them with a brand new townhouse. The manager has changed evey other day. Guns, drugs, stealing, well you name it, it happens here. It's a shame because if you managed it correct it would be a great place to live. The houses are beautiful but the next neighbor is a sex offender who they allow to be around your kids everyday..They do not care at all about being a better place. It's sad

upon moving in, I took photos of any damage in the unit so that when my lease ended I would have evidence that I was not responsible and should not be charged for them. One damage made prior to me moving in was made to the blinds on the patio window. Mind you, any time I needed to contact the office or vice versa, they were very quick to communicate with me. After move out, I was charged $180 for the blind damage (which was just a small chip on the bottom right). I left several messages with the office explaining that I had photos with times and dates of the damage made before move in. I never heard back from them. Never received that money back..

Our church had a reach out ministry here and the Lord had hid way so I would say it’s nice, if you’re looking for a church or a closer walk with God then truly come on out to the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ. If they would screen the people they let live here it would be a great place to live
