Mirage Homes

We have had a sinkhole in our yard for 2 years. They have been giving up the run around the entire time. Telling us they are working with drain experts, the other builders in the development to get this fixed. Still not fixed and getting worse. DO NOT BUY A MIRAGE HOME !

Buyer beware! We have now been in our home for a year. They have repeatedly demonstrated terrible follow-through on warranty items. They say 3 to 5 business days, but we have waited weeks to months and have to keep hounding them to get anything done. We placed our last warranty form almost a month ago, and nothing has been fixed. Our sidewalk was terrible from the get-go. It was sloped toward the porch, so it was holding water. Before we closed, they tore it out and redid it, and it looked even worse and was crumbling on the edges. They refused to replace it but instead applied this thin layer over the top, which again looked even worse. They told us it would look normal and be all the same color, but they lied to us again. Horrible Warranty follow up. Closed on my House in June of 21 and have been chasing them for six months to fix some of the items around my new home. There is no documentation from website when you send in for warranty, you don't know if they even received it. When they do follow up they just tell you yes, yes yes, and nothing gets taken care of. Picture is how above microwave cabinet was left. When speaking with project manager response is that is just the way it goes.

We went under contract with Mirage Homes, using Great Plains Bank as their preferred lender. We gave Great Plains Bank all our info and for the remaining time nothing in our bank/jobs etc changed. We were set to close on a Tuesday and that Friday we got a phone call saying we were no longer approved for the loan. We were told by Mirage Homes that the only way to stay under contract with them in order to find out why Great Plains Bank denied us after stating we were approved and NOTHING changed on our end, that we had to give Mirage Homes ANOTHER $3,000. We chose not to hand more money over and to lose the property. We had our realtor ask for our earnest money back only to be denied with Mirage saying that they lost time and money by holding the house for us and not selling it. I have attac

Now that I’m out of the year warranty I’m stuck with repair bills. First my tub was chipped and instead of swapping the tub they put epoxy on it and it has yellowed over time. (Easy fix to run out my year warranty) My heater stopped working last year in the freezing cold so I hired a technician to come out and look at it (The drainage was filled with construction debris) Now that I’m out of warranty once again I’m calling a repair man to come figure out why my 2 year old house keeps throwing the furnace breaker and filling with water again! (Thanks guys… no such thing as new house no problems) My house is settling and my concrete areas are cracked everywhere.
