Disgusting apartments and crappy management, I highly recommend finding a new place to live and put your money, energy, time and health into a better place for yourself(and if you have kids). Maintenance is the number one issue that doesn't know how to do their jobs, you can ask them to do a simple task and it'll take weeks, months and YEARS to finish anything. There's also a lot of issues in the apartments from roaches and bed bugs to mold in the vents and walls. It just shows how inhumane the management is, just another reason why they have so many lawsuits, to not take stuff like this seriously. Don't trust anyone that tells you Westland is the way to go cause it's not.

They have roaches. When I asked to be moved to a new unit, preferably one that isn’t infested, they took their sweet precious time (over 2 months). The building is poorly build. The vinyl floorboards aren’t laid down properly. The counter tops aren’t real, just covered in marble wallpaper. The windows barely work. They are slow to fix anything in the unit. They didn’t have my unit clean when I moved in. Management is only good for making excuses and giving you the run around.

If I could give this apartment complex negative stars I would. Let's not talk about the bugs because that is too easy. Let's talk about not providing a livable space for even half the amount they are charging a month in rent. I had to get into an argument with the lady in the office so that the maintenance guy would come and fix a puddle in my apartment. They just kept telling me it was fixed until I screamed that half of my bedroom was flooded and they better come because the carpet was starting to mold. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay in any of these rooms for even one night. I’ve been a resident here for about 3 years and the maintenance gets worse and worse but the rent goes up. I’ve been without a washer in my old unit for 6 months with them saying they are going the next day everyday. Now I got transferred into an apartment with no a/c and no hot water. I’ve been calling everyday since the beginning of the month. I finally went to the office because my kids can’t sleep and are getting nosebleeds from the heat just so the manager can hear me say that and respond that they are backed up because they having inspections. They use the extra money from raising the rent to paint things instead of buying appliances and doing repairs.
