Minnehaha Lofts - Elegant 1Br Condo w/ Lot of Amenities & Balcony on Light Rail

We loved staying in the Hiawatha Flats apartment! It was very comfortable and well supplied. The only thing we missed was a measuring cup with a pour spout :). The hot tub was awesome, too. John, at the front office, helped us reserve a meeting room for a birthday party we hosted. It was absolutely perfect, and there was no extra cost. All in all, we were happy with our stay and hope to return the next time we are in Minneapolis.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend when we were in town for a family wedding. It totally exceeded our expectations. The room was nicely furnished and clean, lots of towels and extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen had everything you needed before you headed to the market including coffee, condiments, and bottled water. The fresh flowers, chocolates and whole fruit were a nice touch! Not only is it in a great location, next to Minnehaha Park and the Light Rail, but it's within walking distance of many restaurants and coffee shops. The building amenities are what took it beyond any hotel experience. We used the pool and rec room several times and the assigned parking spot underground was convenient. Finally, guest services did a really great job of keeping in contact during our stay

(UPDATED 8/22) HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION: Would give zero stars if possible. Booked the room over a month in advance, they took my $200 deposit upon booking, then email me 5 days before check in stating my reservation had been canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances", here I am leaving on my trip and checking into my last minute lodging TOMORROW and I still have yet to receive a refund. No answer on calls, my emails have been dodged, I've gotten the BBB involved at this point because I'm not about to let these con artists win. Do not book here unless you feel like giving Margots and his family an interest free loan for a month UPDATE 8/22: The refund was not executed upon cancellation as the company stated it was, after 15+ emails, 7

Stayed in this beautiful condo while visiting our daughter! Loved it! Bed and linens were so comfortable. Condo was spacious and well equipped! Beautiful decor! We will definitely try to to stay again when we travel back to Minneapolis!

I have a similar cancellation experience in a booking that Margots manages on VRBO. We booked a house April 19th and asked Saturday for acess to photos since the house was no longer listed on VRBO. May 9, 4 days before our scheduled arrival Margots informed us the property was unavailable. Asking why and asking for help locating another property only brought the response, "I am sorry". Consider carefully booking with her.
