Mill House Properties

We have been Mill House tenants almost a year. The home we live in was not occupied as a residence for quite some time and is around 40 years old. This property was also new to the Mill House family. As the first tenants, we have of course found all the maintenance needs that no one was aware of. Some things we just take care of on our own (because they are minor and we are capable), but we’ve had to request maintenance visits for several things. Mill House has always been very responsive, professional , and concerned about getting issues resolved. The service providers have also been responsive and great to work with. Being new to NC and also in Real Estate, it has been amazing to work with a management company that truly cares for their clients’ properties and the tenants leasing them.

Mill House Properties has been consistently professional and responsive. Every time I’ve called, they’ve handled things efficiently and courteously. I appreciate how they’ve gone above and beyond on more than one occasion. Specifically, Brandon and Tara are receptive to my concerns and follow through!!

It went great! The maintenance man was polite and professional and came out just a day or two after I made the request Every time I have made a maintenance request they came out and resolved the problem for me, and even gave me the option of not being there if I wanted them to take care of it while I was busy doing something else. The worst leasing agency I have ever dealt with. Horrible response to maintenance requests. Maintenance has shown up unannounced outside of my bedroom door numerous times, once at 8am without an appointment. Most recently, they have been unresponsive and neglectful with a major water leak which has caused the drywall to collapse and fall into the kitchen floor. About two weeks after the maintenance request, still nothing, and now there is extensive and major damage to the property. My experience with Mill House has been horrible throughout the last year. There is no accountability in any capacity. If I had known this would be the case, I would never have signed the lease.

I am a real estate investor that owns a portfolio of properties across the US and abroad. I inquired for property management services and the woman who answered the phone was the rudest, most hostile woman I have ever encountered in this business. I could never conceive of a receptionist or any professional in RE speaking to a prospective client the way she did. And to make matters worse she started bragging about how they managed 300 properties and she was "giving me an education". Mind you my portfolio is well into the 8 figures and I have developed multiple 7 figure properties in my career. She also refused to give me the number of the property manager, as if the manager was some celebrity. Awful and disrespectful customer service. It was really uncalled for and I have heard countless h
