Get. a. home. inspector. The expectation is that a new build should be pretty much perfect, but they are not always. M/I Homes has been somewhat responsive, but only to a point. I feel a lot of issues could've been avoided if we got an inspection done.
Great buying experience from the whole team at MI. Courtney has been so awesome that my kids (2 and 5) go visit her at the model house office :)
