Metropolitan Towers

I have lives here since 2015 and they nickle and dime you for everything. This past year they let everyone go in the office to allow 1 person run 6 properties. This person was never in the office when she said she would be nor would she return any calls. If you were lucky enough to catch her in the office, she was unprofessional, rude and condescending. She would also be barefoot. So beware new renters. If you have an issue with something don't expect it to be resolved right away. Also beware that they did not have people come and plow our parking lots this winter. I have attached a photo of what our parking lot looked like.

Met towers has gone down hill since Amanda is now the property manager!! Shes very unprofessional in the way she dresses and presents herself. I haven't lived there for 3 months now and she TEXT my phone at 6AM today 10/30 asking to do an inspection of my unit!! First of all she has no authorization to look up my number and also to text me outside of business hours is unacceptable!! Even the so called corporate office never returns phone calls or emails. I have left several voicemails for the regional manager Jana with no response AT ALL! This place was wayyyyyy better when it was Towers Management and when Stella worked in the office at Met Towers!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX!!!

My overall experience at Metropolitan has been so-so thus far. Some maintenance concerns were not addressed, even after providing VERY detailed information to management, which included pictures as well. Once the maintenance personnel did arrive he asked me what was my concern were with the kitchen sink, then proceeded to say, “ma’am please allow me to do my job. I haven’t read the request yet.” SMH he later apologized to me, blaming his frustration on pain w/his ankle which needs surgery. The bathroom under cabinet concerns were NEVER addressed, so my brother and I did what we could with steel wool to prevent mice entry. I understood his condition, and extended grace, but I doubt we’ll stay here after a year..

We have been attempting to tour with this complex for 2 weeks now. They’d send us a date for a tour, we show up, only for them to completely ghost us. When we attempt to reschedule, we get automated emails thrown our way. Im not one to complain, but this has been a complete time waste. I am hoping there’s a reasonable explanation for this poor of management, but I now have seen zero reason to rent here. I do not recommend this complex.

The nice things about these apartments: most utilities are included, the units are very spacious, and it's affordable. The bad things: mold, cockroaches, centipedes, silverfish, wasps, frequent plumbing issues, hardly any guest parking, horribly smelling hallways, and maintenance standards were bad(lived there for years and none of it was fixed despite asking many times). If you can afford better, I recommend moving elsewhere.
