Metropolitan Artist Lofts

I have lived here almost ten years now, and having an outstanding manager like Shannon makes this place shine like a diamond. For years we had Carla, and our experience here was horrible under her management. We were treated with partiality, and on two occasions, Carla allowed our cars towed wrongfully. Due to Carla's lack of unbiased management, we found ourselves in very uncomfortable living. Now, we have the best of the best! Shannon! Shannon genuinely cares for the residents' concerns, no bias, and her love is seen by us all. Our Maintenance man Andy works hard, and he too is the best! Our community is family-like: however, more funds are needed to help the manager gather for community activities. I love living here except when residents refuse to follow the non-smoking rule. I have been a resident for 3 years and I pay additional $85 a month for parking only for maintenance to call and have my car towed 7:30am Monday morning 6/3/2024 while I was away at work. I now have to pay $510 to get my NEW car back that I just bought the day prior . I have attempted to contact management twice via email and 5 times via phone with no response. In my 3 years here they haven’t been able to keep a consistent office team, we are forced to contact Leather Trade artist lofts manager to get any type of help. I have also called Leather trade and haven’t gotten any assistance. Something needs to be done immediately!!

I have not moved in yet, but the after touring the Metropolitan artist lofts, they are GORGEOUS! A lot of the recent reviews say that the apartments were amazing and well kept until recent management. I want to report that Shannon has returned (who had great feedback). She was absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely kind, outgoing, helpful, and even found a few loop holes for my situation. It was tough getting in touch, I just showed up and they scheduled me a tour for the next day. I will report back once I move in, but so far so good!

Shannon was absolutely amazing with her energy and willingness to assist in the process. She was amazingly efficient and and proficient in getting me in and out. I can't wait to receive the keys to my new home. I was able to get app filled and accepted all in the same day. So grateful!

Wish this could be a 5 star but, the last year things have gone downhill. The space is wonderful and the views/location are in a great spot in the city. The issues are not with the space but with management. Hot water was not working for a full week this month and no updates from management on when it would be fixed. Only got fixed when someone in the building posted flyers with numbers for health department and Missouri Housing Development Commission. They also raise prices of things without explanation. Rent went up from last year and recently parking went up from $85/month to $125/month, my guess is because people are moving out quickly. Management is never in office as they also have an apartment they manage in downtown. It is near impossible to get a hold of management for any issues.
