We purchased, on a short sale, an unfinished custom home in Southern Highlands. Left undone were cabinets; appliances; some floors; showers; in short almost everything except the structure itself. Our real estate broker recommended Merlin Contracting, which normally only did custom homes, but because of the real estate melt down in Las Vegas, had accepted some "piece meal" work to keep the subs busy. Thank Goodness! They completed our home promptly and efficiently. Beautiful finish work all through the home. They even had to replace a support beam that had been, for some strange reason, placed in the middle of the dining room. Merlin engineered a 30 foot long "glue lam" beam from wall to wall that maintained the integrity of the structure while hiding the beam itself. Brilliant!
