Meridian at Mt. Vernon Triangle

Honestly its a good place to stay. The apartment themselves are pretty spacious and come with good amenities. The rooftop is stellar, there is always going on there and it has a great ambiance. The lobby is normally clean and the staff are generally welcoming and respectful. Main reason why I give it 4 stars is because the gym maintenance is lacking a bit, and so was the aparment maintenance when I got there. I understand someone is here before we are, but ideally the place should be fully inspected before putting a new tenant in.

I am a serial renter in DC. In 4 years I’ve had 4 different apartments. This building is the nicest by far. Ive never once had a safety issue or issue with the maintenance staff fixing an issue. They are very responsive and helpful. The rooftop amenities are top notch in DC. My only negative feedback is minor. During holiday season, the concierge staff gets a bit too nit picky about packages. It’s an understandable issue, but annoying.

So far, I’ve had a great experience at this apartment building, with the caveat that I’ve only been here for about six months. Coordinating with the leasing staff has been easy, the maintenance team is timely, and using the amenities has been straightforward. My only small nitpick is that some of the reception staff could be a bit more amenable at times, though it hasn’t really been much of an issue for me.

I just moved into PH II about a month ago and so far everything about the Meridian has been splendid. Olivia K. and Ms. Heart were really helpful and welcoming and as soon as I walked in they made me feel right at home. They even left me a welcome kit in the apartment with snacks and other small house warming gifts. The building is located in an awesome location near Mount Vernon Square and right across the street from Safeway. The amenities are nice and the apartment was the cleanest I toured in DC after stopping at over 10 different locations. The service requests are completed in a timely manner and all of the staff are very friendly. Work is right down the street and there is lots to do within walking distance. It took this review to finally receive a response to my January 5th email asking for safety information on the pest control process. Seriously, if you have pets please think twice about this place. The result of this review was learning that there were chemical traps left in my apartment with my cats, who were unsecured because I was never told they were coming. There was no follow up to inform me that there were now traps in my apartment and I would have had no idea had I not left this review or, God forbid, my cats got a hold of them. While I appreciate that they are now "in touch" just know that this is what it took to get a response, and that I still do not have safety information despite many requests. * * * The German cockroach issue is pervasive and gross, and management does not
