Meridian at Midtown Apartments

My sister and I moved here in July 2025, and we were genuinely excited, this is the neighborhood we grew up in. At first, we loved everything about the place. Yes, our living room didn’t have a dining area, but we focused on the positives and stayed grateful. But the longer we lived here, the more we realized the truth: the property, the management, and Essex as a company do not care about their tenants. On top of the already high rent, they work with Rebbelos towing to exploit people who live here. There are no clear signs anywhere stating that vehicles will be towed from any part of the lot. My car was towed from my assigned parking space, a space I pay for, even though my car is registered to be there. I had to pay $410 to get it back!! I was never given any notice or warning that i

I just moved into the Meridian apartments a couple of weeks ago. So far everything has been excellent for me. I've reached out to the staff several times and everyone has been very friendly and helped me out promptly with everything I've needed. Maintenance, specifically Crescendio, has been phenomenal! Not only is he obviously an expert in his craft, but also very helpful and friendly! The apartments themselves are in great shape with quality appliances, along with being spacious and having plenty of storage. I will update this review in several months to ensure it remains accurate, but so far I have nothing but great things to say.

I wish I would have NEVER MOVED HERE! The neighborhood is unsafe. Someone was murdered in their park a few weeks ago and no one from the company acknowledged it. There is absolutely no support for residents. There is no leasing office or staff onsite besides maintenance. Maintenance is great but there are other things that need to be tended to like the fact that there was a ton of police activity when the homicide occurred. They will tow your car from the parking garage if it doesn't have a pass. Even if the car is on your lease. The amount of packages that are stolen is absolutely ridiculous. Over the last two weeks EVERY SINGLE item that has been delivered to me has been stolen. Doesn't matter if it's delivered to my front door, the mailroom, or the luxer lockers which is a joke becaus

To any future resident, I sincerely urge you to think again before you rent in this community. On the surface it might look like a new apartment building but the problems in this place run deep. The elevator is out of service at least a week in a month. At least 10 false fire alarms during my time there. Security is a complete joke. The Garage gate is always broken. I have seen homeless people wandering around in the parking garage of the complex and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. The office staff are NEVER available for anything you may have to talk about. And when they do talk, it's in the most inhuman way and good luck getting answers to your phone calls or emails. My husband and I moved here in January 2025, and we were genuinely excited. This is I've seen the worst apartment ever!!! 1. The courier has lost my packages countless times at the mailbox room, the Amazon locker area. I even suspect that the apartment staff are stealing them, but I have no evidence. 2. The second point is about the apartment management center. There's never anyone there. If you have any issues, you can't find them at all. They don't seem to be working at all. 3. The fire alarm in the apartment keeps going off for no reason. Sometimes it rings at 3 a.m. for no reason at all, which makes it impossible for you to sleep well.
