Melina at Maitland

I started renting my apartment at Magnolia Court now reNamed Melina at Maitland ( I wonder whyyyy ) from a private owner in June 2025, and everything seemed fine at first until one month after we moved in, the property was sold to FPI Management. From that moment on, everything went downhill fast. We have had ongoing plumbing issues. None of the toilets flush properly, and if you don’t constantly plunge them, the water overflows. On top of that, the A/C unit leaks and is very very old that the filter gets drenched and is useless, this has caused ceiling leaks throughout the apartment and led to black mold growing in several areas ( which started causing us health issues ). Despite bringing these serious health and safety issues to management’s attention many times, nothing was ever proper

None of my maintenance issues have been properly addressed. Still waiting on refrigerator racks, a peep hole for my front door, mold and leak rings on my ceiling from half ass repairs, missing cabinet shelves leaking faucets. And NO PEST CONTROL for months. I will be contacting housing authority cause I’m paying rent for somewhere I haven’t been comfortable in since I moved here. I rented my unit from a private owner, who turned around and sold within a month of signing my lease to some FPM management or something that’s tryna buy out the other condos… I guess the other owners aren’t selling so they are now looking for new investors but they are treating the current residents here like they don’t matter. You’re collecting my money but won’t address my issues, so I’ll just take this to hous

Thalya was the best when it came to great hospitality. Very patient I love the way that she was showing me around the units to see which fit for my Stay absolutely beautiful community I would definitely recommend anyone to come this place has grown and it looked beautiful remodeled and very quiet so if you're looking for a place to stay this will be your home

If I could ZERO star this complex or anything managed by FPI I would. They are never in the office. They never pick up calls. We have had issues from broken windows, leaks, roaches, mold. You would be better off finding some better place to stay. Please do not ever rent here or anything managed by FPI. They do not deserve money and have been in multiple legal battles. Please read all the negative reviews and save your time and money. This place should be bulldozed and turned into a park or a parking lot. They really don’t care about people. Disregard their responses they just don’t want negative reviews and really look into their legal battles because nothing has changed.

The maintenance team is very professional, kind and efficient. The office staff is also very professional and so helpful. This a great place to live and I love being here ❤️ You can see the changes being made to maje this a top notch community.
