Since Foothill-De Anza (FHDA) Community College District took over management of McClellan Terrace Apartments, the quality of service has gone downhill. The staff in the leasing office are consistently rude, never answer phone calls, and rarely reply to emails. On the rare occasion they do, their responses are dismissive, saying they get “hundreds of emails” and don’t have time to respond. This is unacceptable, especially since the previous management companies (Prometheus and McClellan Property Management) were responsive and professional. If FHDA leasing office staff cannot handle the responsibility, these positions should be given to people who can. Parking is also a major problem. Everything about the application, leasing and moving in process was handled with such care and consideration. We first toured the unit about a month ago with and the units were well maintained and Mindy was so welcoming. After some discussion, my husband and I decided to apply and move into our new home. Throughout the property, you can see how much the neighborhood staff team care. Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner.
