I applied with several different mortgage lenders directly. (Always shop around.) Then, I figured a broker might be able to get me better terms than I could get myself. I googled “Minnesota mortgage brokers” and found a subreddit that mentioned Matty by name. I saw Matty and Edge Home Finance had great reviews, so I went ahead and applied online. Long story short, he was able to get me a 37% lower PMI rate vs. the lowest rate I’d been quoted previously.
