Mason Manor Apartments

I lived in Mason Manor, (or 'Manson Manor's as it's been called), for 18 months. In that time frame it's had 3 different sit managers, 3 building fires, 3 people who were my neighbors died, my car was vandalized, with no way to see who did it due to security camera failure, witnessed homeless people break into and live in vacant apartments for weeks at a time, homeless people being shot sometimes repeatedly in the face by the staff, constant mailbox theft, gang activity, shootings, management shutting tenants water and electric off without notice to get tenants to move out, then blaming it on the people at the Oklahoma City Utilities. There is a pool, I never seen it open, nor do I know of anyone who seen it open, there is no communal laundry, there is no working gate, there is no 24 hour

This complex is by far the worst apartment complex I've ever been in. It is a terrible mess outside, the manager is incompetent, the maintenance man has no clue how to fix things, we haven't had electricity for 2 weeks and it's all bills paid! Almost all the other apartments have electricity, we lost a great deal of food due to this, I have told them about the problem repeatedly and they do nothing about it. It is very loud 24/7. Shots get fired at 2, 3, 4 am. There is no lighting in the breezeways and people pile things up in the middle of the dark walkway. I've fallen a few times. The apartment manager came into the apartment early in the morning without any warning and stood in the doorway when I had no clothes on. He just stood there until I coughed, then he spoke. This is a great place to live. The new office staff Amy and the okcpd are amazing in getting the homeless population down. And she is working endlessly to get the apts remodeled and ready for move in. It’s a process buts they are doing a great job!!!

I’ve been a resident of Mason Manor only a few months. I was very iffy when I first moved in under the previous management. The office lady quit out of nowhere, they told me they couldn’t fix what was wrong. The apartment was in horrible condition but as soon as the new management took over they were QUICK to help get my apartment in shape. Counter resurfacing, carpet, leaks. It’s all been fixed and I’m so relieved now! I’ve seen so many positive changes in such a short time. I would definitely recommend these apartments now. 6 months later we have our 4th management company in a year. This complex has accepted residents in the “Keys to Home” program so if you basically want to live in a homeless encampment then this is the place for you. The security cameras do NOT work, the pool hasn't been open in over 4 years. There is No laundry facilities and it's half a mile to closest bus. Major mold problems and the staff will lie to you telling you everything works. Last year a lady who worked here conned several residents to leave false reviews around Nov 2022. Those positive reviews were because she exchange maintenance for positive reviews. Maintenance is not supposed to cost you.
