Mason Gardens Apartments

The staff here are wonderful. They truly provide excellent maintenance and service. The only drawback to this lovely community is that the walls and floors are paper-thin, and you can literally hear every single thing your neighbors are doing. You would think that the residents would eventually come to understand that they should be quiet and respectful in the bedroom areas, but unfortunately, this is not the case. You will hear every conversation your neighbors have. All of the bedrooms in this community are stacked on top of each other because that is how the layout is. Unfortunately, this community was constructed with no regard for sound insulation between units. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place.

The buildings are old, but maintenance is top notch. Complex manager is wonderful and the location is second to none (15m walk to metro, 60 second drive to 495). I lived in four different apartments in and around Alexandria, this is the only one I'd recommend. You'll deal with front office robots, pests, and/or much higher rent anywhere else.

Fair price and great location, easy access to I-495. Manager, Michelle is also great to work with.

Alexandria is close to Washington DC. It's in Virginia and environment is like some suburban area. Birds are chirping all the day. Comfortable weather and nice breeze make this area worth living.

Mason Gardens Staff go above and beyond to provide outstanding service and attentive to their residents, that is hard to find these days.
