I lived here for many years, and also did tours of the surrounding apartments nearby and must say the layout of the apartment is very spacious for a one bedroom. The apartments are safer than the other complexes in the area. I would advise getting a camera for your car however and to never leave belongings in it and to always be street smart in the area and while living there. The neighborhood community within the complex is actually helpful are highlight of being there, they watch out for each other and are friendly. The apartment managers have been very helpful even though the office can be tricky getting to when they are open when I wanted due to my weird schedule. The trusty handyman were timely and fixed my all of my repairs even rushing over very late night to me when I had a dire em
Wow this is been a pretty incredible place to live especially given the area. The surrounding area is okay but inside the fence of this property is beautiful. The grounds and the pools are well kept and the maintenance team works round the clock to ensure that issues are dealt with ASAP. They even have an emergency line you can call after hours or weekends that will send people straight to your unit. The management team has been terrific. I've gotten to know several of them as they rotate back and forth with some of the other properties and all of them have been wonderful. I would especially like to mention Alisa and Stephanie. I have lived other places where the people in the office seemed rude and off-putting and the management here has been nothing but a delight. I really wanted to move
I am very thankful to have had Stephanie be the one to help me move into my first apt! The process was so easy and the app is super cool! she was very attentive and willing to work with me on getting me accepted. From friendly presence to “girl I know that’s right” hahaha. she amazing! I want to point out. While I was tour. A tenant had come up to mention the trash being raided my homeless. Instead of brushing it off. She made note of it and that was a week prior before my move win. On my actual move in day, she mentioned now the trash cans have locks. Maybe it’s small to most but, I really appreciate service and action actually being done and that’s what really made me want to call Maryland Park, my home! Highlight! I walk into my new home and find a “welcome home” gift and I looooved i
Living here has honestly been a nightmare. There’s a serious roach infestation that doesn’t go away no matter how clean you keep your place. But the worst part is the sewer issues. The bathroom sink smells like straight sewer — it’s so bad I can’t even brush my teeth in there without feeling sick. they shut off the water almost every other day without warning — there’s no telling when you’ll be able to shower or even wash dishes. The pools are dirty and nothing like the pictures they advertise online. It's all just for show. The real condition of this place is completely different once you move in. To make matters worse, management is completely unhelpful. They ignore maintenance requests, barely answer the phone, and act like you’re a problem for speaking up. I’ve reported the same issue
A little gem oasis in the desert! The landscaping is beautiful, mature, and well maintained. The parkinglot was recently repaved. The units are remodeled. Landscapers come once a week. Pest and security services are always available. The management is doing their best to maintain and improve an aging property in a low income part of town and still give a sense of caring about our homes and dignity. Like any aging property there are challenges with things breaking, but they are always quick to respond to emergencies. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable and helpful; one even came to my home well after hours to unclog my bathtub and another removed and replaced my window screen so I could throughly clean my window before painting a Christmas scene. The roaches are an issue they are dilige
