I went in to apply and the lady in the office was so rude!! She scolded me on how I answered things on the application THEN after figuring out I did it correctly said, “they must have changed it. “😒🤦‍♀️ Then after saying we made too much she laughed and judged us because our parents still paid our cellphone bill at the time. I did say that I had never rented before so maybe she took the opportunity because I didn’t know what I was doing. Not sure.

I moved here because of the complex's excellent location near nice neighborhoods, schools, the mall, etc, and in the hopes that I could get approved for the HUD assistance they advertise, as I was a young struggling mother at the time. The entire duration of my lease I tried to get this assistance to no avail: the manager had me jump through endless hoops, and constantly needed one more court order proving custody of my daughter, etc. Come to find out she was busted for pocketing people's rent while the government paid double. From day one the apartment had a terrible roach, flea, and spider infestation that was completely unresponsive to the best professional products I could find.
