We feel incredibly lucky to have found Fred Roven & Martha's Vineyard Buyer's agents. My husband & I have family on the island, and decided it was the perfect place for a summer home. We live in Los Angeles, so Fred worked with our aunt on the island to prescreen some houses. We found a week in February that seemed to have decent weather, and flew out. Fred showed us about 20 homes in 5 days, and helped us negotiate for the one we loved. He met us at the airport, just before out flight home, to sign the final paperwork! I can't imagine there is anyone who knows the Martha's Vineyard real estate market better than Fred Roven and Emma Kennedy. I worked with Fred for two years before finally finding and closing on my first home. He always made me feel like I was his only client. He always made himself available to answer questions, research the condition of a house and negotiate terms strongly on my behalf. I don't know why anyone would use anyone else to buy a property on the Vineyard. He is a true Buyer's agent, even assisting me after closing.
