Marshalltown Lofts

I was surprised...the apartments are VERY spacious and everything is included. Even a pantry. Large bathroom. Every apartment has a balcony. There is nothing for security, anyone can come and go. The hallways are plain and narrow but the apartments are big surprise. Lots of families live here so there are children but nobody seems to bother anyone else.

Compared to most apartment complexes, Mtown Lofts are clean and well kept. The main lobby is taken care of with meticulous cleaning. The process of applying went super smoothly and the manager and her supervisor were very upfront about all of the rules and policies. I was met with no judgment due to my personal life situations and treated as an equal and important person who deserved clean and safe housing. They were more than willing to work with HAP (Housing Assistance Program) and worked with my budget to meet my needs. I highly recommend this company and this location. (Plus the view of the courthouse is very gorgeous).

My experience has been wonderful and it’s all because of the manager, Lety, to begin with we wanted to get into a hud apartment but we’re not able to due to the fact that my income is too high, lety was very helpful in explaining and making that extra effort through the whole process, she was able to help us get the last 3 bed room market rate unit in the complex. Ever since then she has always been very informative and very eager to help. She always greets everyone with a smile and always has a very positive attitude. If all the managers of the complex were like her the building would be in great hands.

No "safe place" (basement), no maintenance, no internet for months, one of the managers is totally racist , she isn't even a people person, lies and gives false information so that their tenants can be "happy". I mean if you want to get this building corrected, then correct that manager and make her take classes to respect and not be racist, she knows what she does is wrong and wants to blame others for her actions(behind tenants back) or just not have her there at all. That's why it has one star and wont be moving there, good luck everyone that did. BTW this isn't towards the young short girl that works there, my English isn't that good and she was very helpful.

The apartments are really nice,also the manager Letty is friendly and very helpful. Everything is well maintained and any repairs are made right away!! It is an excellent place to live.
