My dealings with Margaret Lambert Realty were a complete disappointment from start to finish. As a prospective tenant, I was excited to find a rental unit that seemed perfect for my needs. However, the entire process was riddled with issues that left me frustrated and dissatisfied. The initial application process was excruciatingly slow. It took over a month just to get a response, and during that time, my emails and phone calls went unanswered. When I finally heard back, the information provided was unclear, and I had to chase down answers to basic questions. Upon moving in, it quickly became apparent that the property was not well-maintained. Several appliances were faulty, and the promised repairs were never completed. Margaret Lamberton Realty is not only an excellent example of a great real estate business but also a great example of a wonderful business in general. The way Margaret pays attention to every detail and follows through is impeccable.She sold my listing at the Westchester and was a rock star during a very tumultuous time at that property.They we’re undergoing major renovations and it was constantly impacting how and when we showed the apartment .My husband got in so many fights with the management and the board because of their complacent attitude about renovations. We had to cancel many showings and open houses because of work being done on the building. After a while, we could not communicate with them directly because it was so heated. This review used to be 5 stars, then Margaret Lamberton Real Estate illegally kept my security deposit and ignored numerous emails and phone calls over several months to resolve the matter. If they wish for me to change this review, they can return my emails or phone calls (like they used to) and work to resolve this matter.

Margaret Lamberton Real Estate is so great! They have been a pleasure to work with from viewing the apartment at the start, to the move in process to now living here! While it was a little bit hard to reach their agent at some points, Margaret was always available to answer questions, negotiate terms, and make us feel comfortable. They even reached out a couple months in to check in on how everything was, which I felt was above and beyond! I’m so grateful for the group for making our move and transition so seamless.

I would advise you to not do any business with Margaret Lamberton Real Estate, because she is not responsive to calls or e-mails. She kept mixing my phone number up. She did find me a renter, but had to make several calls to her, which she never answered also sent e-mails that she did not responded to. I final had to track down her assistant (Brittany) to get the Security Deposit that was due to me. Also due to me was a few dollars because the renter moved in a few day earlier than lease started - Again called Margaret regarding this and no answer to my calls or e-mails. I also tried call Brittany her assistant and no answer at all.
