Maples Apartments

Been living there for 4 years with my toddler, it's a studio apartment so it's not a whole lot of space but it works for a solo resident or small family. There's on-site laundry, convenient and I havent had issues w it. Building could use some updates.... I moved in at $750 back in April 2021 and its about to be $920 come Jan 2026... and i haven't seen a ton of changes but my guess is the $170 increase was to compensate for other residents usage, it's everything included (heat, hotwater, etc). The overall area is fine to me, and close enough to downtown to get everything I need. And I appreciate the parking lot, I hate street parking

This place hasn't changed since the 80's. Very old and rundown. For the price they are charging I don't forsee any major updates or renovations coming.

I lived here for 2 years and loved it. I don't have any kids so it was perfect for just me. Heat Hot water and Electricity for $625 a month, you can't beat that. The only problem I had was the washing machines would be out of order to often. I was on the 3rd floor so it was quiet. 1st and 2nd Fl are the loudest. Besides that it was a good experience while I was in college. If I hadn't caught a case and lost it I'd still be here. Now I'm in Hartford and want to go back to Springfield and get my studio back. If you DON'T have any kids, then this is the spot.

The most worst place to live ever. Everything is wrong with this place including the management. Office lady so un respectful, drugs, violence and worst environment. Neighborhood it’s so bad and is always dirty. This place have problems with the water, they have to shut the water every month or more. City comes a couple times to orders to vacates.

When I lived there it was clean &neat well cared for I lived there in 1979
