My Wife and i bought our house through a dealer and they had this builder as an option as they were the only ones to have 5 bedroom houses. our house has been a nightmare to deal. there was stuff that was cut from our build plans and stuff done we didn't want and there was things we needed that weren't added. with had 11 calls on it to have several things fixed on it and a lot of the repairs are for the same thing, siding, drains, trim, doors, our island is still bowing and they wont fix it and i given the builder suggestion that would help prevent issues of the bowing like adding support slats on the bottom of the island didn't hear anything. take like 2 months to get someone out to look and do repairs. most recent issue is our furnace. the furnace uses a crappy mesh that doesn't do anyth

Absolutely the worst home you can buy. So many things are installed wrong. And I can't get a hold of anybody for warranty work. Honestly, I don't know how they sleep at night with the quality of work they do. How does any of this pass inspections???

Over all it is a nice home but the workmanship is not great. Toilet tank was not attached, it was sitting there with bolts no washer or nut attached. The oven wire was to short and not attached. The ceiling stamp work looked rushed over the kitchen sink. The over flow of the tub was NOT properly attached. I had missing parts for the fridge, and oven drawer. Once I fixed the things, the house seems to be a nice house. Granted, I've only been in for a couple of weeks.

We purchased the Barton IV and I am over the moon happy with the quality of building and details of our new home. Our house was built within the expected time frame and delivered by a team that took their time and made sure it arrived safely! When purchasing a pre-fab home there are normal delays and things to be aware of that are outside the builder and delivery teams control, and I see a lot of these issues listed in bad reviews. Overall I am amazed and ecstatic about our decision to use Manufactured Housing Enterprises.

Poor response to warranty calls. Have had home 2 years come January and we have had them out several times for the same things. Squeaky floors, cracked bath tub, cracked window seal in bathroom, crown molding doesn’t fit walls, caulking in shower came off and around sinks replacement was done trashy. We finally got them to do the tub last week after putting in request 1st week living here, now they are saying no new window replacement because they sent us the WRONG SIZE, and now our roof is leaking in the bathroom. I think their lack of response is to hold off having to do repairs. Oh, crown molding, they say they can’t repair and even out the awkward cuts due to the wall shapes. Don’t waste your money, and if you have bought a home do everything in writing! You’ll need the documentation.
