Mansions at Granite Falls

Had to give 4 stars because there’s always room for improvement, however, my time here has been great! I have not had a single issue here that maintenance has not been able to fix. Not only that, but they responded & resolved my issues (only 3) very quickly! Unfortunately I’m coming up on the end of my lease…had it not been so far from my job, this complex would gladly remain home! I rented the studio apartment and it’s the perfect amount of space for me, although, I did often wish I had more storage. Winter last year they did a great job handling snow removal and salting the walkways. Summer they did a great job keeping the pool clean and even added some new pool chairs which was nice! This apartment was my first ever apartment i moved into, They made things very easy and accommodating and comfortable. Complex, gym & office is clean, and welcoming!

By far the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment. Upon moving in they tried to pull a switcheroo and gave us a different unit than was agreed upon and then acted like they had no clue, when really they were just hoping we would not say anything. Had to fight with them day one to get what was agreed on. Then there was a huge residue stain on the carpet along with multiple either burn or grease stains. They never fixed the grease/burn stains and we had to fight with them for a month to send someone out to clean the residue stain. The two women in the office are the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. Just got my deposit check back and they stole nearly $800 from us for "carpet cleaning and pet treatment" for $290 and another 450 for replacing carpet in a closet. The

I have lived here for two years now and I am glad I chose these apartments. The office staff is friendly and easy to talk with. The property is dog friendly and my dog loves visiting the office and saying hi to the staff. Any time I’ve had a maintenance issue it has been promptly dealt with and the issue resolved. The price and location fit my needs with schools, stores, and interstate access all very close. It is apartment living so you can only expect so much but my expectations have been exceeded and that is why I am on my third lease.

Lived here for about a year and a half. It was quiet, never heard my neighbors, and felt it was a good choice until I tried to get out of my lease early. It was a complete nightmare. First off they will keep your total deposit before you break the lease, you pay full complete rent and utilities until someone else rents it out, and the communication is very limited on how the process is going with someone else taking over the lease. Almost felt like I had to pry for information on how the process was going since they were incompetent when it came to communication on this process. They kept my whole deposit, I paid rent until January till August ( gave my notice in May), and on top of that they needed the $500 to break the lease and $100 for carpets. Which in total is about 10K. Really look
