Manor Scottsdale - Luxury Apartments

I’ve never felt the need to write a review for an apartment complex until now, but this is absolutely necessary — especially for anyone considering moving in. Living here has been an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. The management is rude, unhelpful, and quick to accuse residents of things with zero evidence. I’ve been blamed for things I did not do, and every attempt to address it professionally has been ignored. Instead of treating tenants with basic respect, management makes baseless claims and threatens legal action without facts or investigation. On top of that, the safety at this complex is a serious issue. Residents regularly leave secure doors propped open, and there is no security presence whatsoever. I’ve been a resident at Manor Scottsdale since March, 2025. Jessica Batten, the Property Manager, and her staff have been extremely professional, friendly, and helpful throughout my time here. Jessica has been able to help me solve any issue I’ve had in a timely manner. The maintenance staff is also very professional and helpful. The apartments are beautiful inside and out, and this complex has some of the best amenities I’ve ever experienced (I’ve lived in similar complexes in both Los Angeles and Boston and this complex is the best I’ve seen). The pricing is competitive and the neighborhood is safe with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend Manor Scottsdale.

I honestly can’t say enough great things about Clara at the front desk. She is absolutely amazing. Clara is always friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable, and she goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Every interaction with her is a bright spot in the day. She brings such a positive, upbeat energy and handles everything with care, patience, and professionalism. Clara truly goes above and beyond, and our building is so lucky to have her. She makes a real difference.

The property looks good in photos, but management priorities are completely backwards. Residents get violation notices for minor things like patio lights while essential maintenance issues go unresolved for days. My mother’s AC has been out for over 5 days with indoor temperatures above 80 degrees in Arizona, and getting updates or urgency from management has required constant follow up. Air conditioning is an essential service here, yet basic habitability concerns seem to take a back seat to cosmetic enforcement. For the price point, the level of responsiveness and accountability is disappointing. Communication is slow, problems drag on longer than they should, and it often feels like residents have to chase management just to get basic issues handled. The building itself is fine. The
