Manchester Oak Apartments

I moved into The Langston in February. From day one, my unit was infested with roaches, which I documented on my move-in inspection and reported immediately. Within days, I also found rat droppings on my counters, in my pantry, and across the floors. This turned out to actually be a full-blown infestation (any pest you can think of). Despite multiple maintenance requests, pest control was delayed, and I was often told to handle things myself—including disposing of dead rats. Maintenance was frequently unavailable, especially on weekends, and my requests were routinely ignored. (Until I involved code enforcement who they then got fired from his job) I have a young autistic child whose health and sleep have been severely impacted by the constant presence of pests. Me, my mom, and my sisters have been living here for 4 years and never had a problem with the smell or anything. The rats and roaches were the only problems but we took care of them on our own. The outside exterior could use some work but so far, this place is ok. My mom has ocd, she handled the bugs and rats on her own. When we first mover here, there were spiders everywhere, we killed them and went about our day. Then we started seeing roaches, my mom also took care of that. She handled the rats by buying mouse traps and sealing up the hole in the heater closet. I love this place so far. Staying here for another year or so.

I love our property and all the great improvements that are being made right now! The team is excellent and the service is the best.

The grounds and trash bens are covered in trash. Not very well taken care of. The builds look run down from the outside. Balconies are not properly and safely attached. The property managers do not care about the up keep or maintenance of this property. That includes the inside of the residence as well. Police are regularly called for fights amongst the neighbors.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! They are also listed as Langston Apartments. All they do is take your money to house their pets, the rats & roaches. They took mice out of my place on Monday...and then left my daughter & I w/o lights in our rooms. Then, they (Monique & the owner) had the nerve to get loud w/ me. Since we have been here, we have been left w/o heat for days, air for days, are constantly having to request pest control b/c apparently the infestation has made it's way to my apartment, & other issues. They are obviously accustomed to people just dealing in silence. They thought they were mad yesterday; just wait until they see how serious I am.
