Aggressive rent increase warning. We moved into our apartment in 2024, planning to stay long term and raise our new family here. It is a smaller building, and we expected some stability. Since MainGate Management took over, our rent has gone from $2,250 to $2,375 in 2025 and now to $2,600 in 2026 which is a 15.6% increase in just two years. MainGate’s explanation is that “rental rates fluctuate with the market,” but this latest 9.5% increase feels carefully kept just under the 10% threshold that would trigger Seattle’s Economic Displacement Relocation Assistance (EDRA) program. It is disappointing and stressful, especially when moving is so expensive. If you are considering renting from MainGate Management, be cautious. Great service when I have a problem they are always there ready to respond. As well my time when my apartment has a problem like pluming or any issues the maintenance guy and team are always great and get the job done.

These awful people are harassing me. I'm about to call the police. I don't live here, I have never had a contract with them, but they're calling, texting, and emailing me constantly despite multiple requests to be removed from their contact list. Edit: Lies. Multiple texts and emails. Phone calls. And I made 2 phone calls, sent 2 texts, and 2 emails trying to fix this. The review stays. Edit 2: I literally was hung up on when I called after a multitude of unlawful and harassing contacts. The police are involved. Edit 3: Proof. On Sunday the 1st my kitchen outlets were compromised. I called Ryan, we spoke and he sent Mohammad on Monday am the 2nd. He texted me prior to his arrival so I knew he was on his way. He arrived and was thoughtful and went to work. I left and he did his Mohammad magic, and my issue was resolved. He followed up with a text sharing what the issue had been.
