Magnolia Scofield Ridge

We lived at Magnolia Scofield Ridge for 13 months in a 2 bedroom apartment on the corner of the building facing Mopac. The location is very good, the floor plans are great with a good view. However, we had major problems while living here. (i) Noise: The amount of highway noise in our apartment was unreal, and it was 24x7. The building is poorly constructed and the windows do nothing to block the noise. As a result, we could not sleep uninterrupted during the night or peacefully watch TV in the living room during the day. before you read the other reviews, use some logic and ask why would people touring the complex leave a review JUST for touring? to me that sounds like the staff is literally BEGGING for good reviews to hide all the terrible behavior this management has. literally just look at the other reviews here… then imagine paying nearly $1,500 every month just them to block off parking spaces and make the dog park less desirable than it already was. mind you there was NO communication about this at all. again PLEASE go look through the other reviews. absolute nightmare to live here. please consider the other apartments nearby before stopping here.

We lived here for around a year on a $2800 rent (including fees), and have many complaints. Our apartment had horrible window frames and installation, with cracks between the window glass and frame, as you can see in the video. The windows, although considered double-pane, did not isolate noise and air flow. You can hear how loud inside the apartment sounds even when the window is closed. We asked the maintenance for a check and repair, to which they said they cannot do anything about it since it’s a construction problem. We ended up buying a lot of ⅜” insulation tapes out of pocket, however the highway noise coming through the closed window would still keep us up at night. I have been moved in for about a week and a half! I love this apartment. It is my Nirvana! It is quiet, comfortable and 100% feels like home! The staff is amazing! Sunset is from my balcony!

elevator not available in every building. pool, “pet park” and parking area kept poorly. sulfur builds up in sinks and they expect YOU to be able to maintenance it. bugs found in my appliances. google fiber is also not offered here, instead at&t fiber which is trash. also the staff becomes condescending when you express your concerns so be careful for taylor and chris. also keep in mind the staff will forget your request so be sure to email everything and keep record of your conversations. horrible first day move in - keypad app wouldn’t load all the entry points upon installation. smart thermostat touch pad was unresponsive and instead of replacing it, they just unplugged it, plugged it in again and said sometimes it happens. avoid this place and look for friendlier staff and a cleaner ho
