Magnolia Place Apartment Homes

Moved to Magnolia Place a year and a half ago. Staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance is quick and on time. The cost of rent is good for the area but the apartments are old. They are not in bad shape (actually really good shape). The community is nice and well kept and has a big park in the middle. However, the walls and floors are "thin" and you can hear what's going on in other people apartments. If you are a light sleeper, or are awakened easily, it may be an issue for you. This is my biggest con about these apartments.

I moved to Magnolia Place from Virginia in 3/2025. I am very pleased with my decision. The staff are terrific and hours of availability are great! The grounds are always impeccable, it's peaceful, nice amenities for a small community (pool, playground and basketball, laundry, etc).

Lived here for 5 years Ms Jenny and ms Linda were down to earth type of people and really worked with me throughout my stay very appreciative of my time here!

This place is by far the most racist place I have seen . I am contacting a lawyer and better business bureau. My children and I are new to this area and my sons were there playing basketball with a few of their friends ( who are white and have been there belfry ) the complex manager has never given the white kids problems before. But my children were with their friend today ( the white friend ) and because my children are black children the cops were called . All they were doing was playing basketball not bothering anyone . Instead of being told they couldn’t be there cops were called and they were issued a trespassing citation . My sons are honor roll students and I am a retired army sgt . I will be following up on this . My children have never experienced such a thing . Just racist !!

Been here for a year. At first staff was quick to repair issues. As time goes by its taking longer to have repairs. The hood over the stove has fallen off & now is laying on the stove. I can't use the stove without risking an electrical fire. I had notified the apt manager Jenny 3 weeks ago. Was told that I would be placed on a to do list. 4 months ago I had water coming from the ceiling, it took 2 weeks to have that fixed. I would not recommend moving here
