Magnolia Management

Magnolia Management has been the greatest asset. They go to great efforts for their tenants and property owners. I have been a supporter of Magnolia Management for over 10 years. Magnolia Management is very fair with rental housing. They have several property that rent for less than $1000 a month for 2 bedrooms in great areas. That is something you will not get in the Raleigh/Durham and surrounding area. I hope to continue my great working relationship with Magnolia Management.

This company is unprofessional and prejudice. I submitted an application to this company and Barbra Boyd was the person I had dealings with. I was told by her via email “ The pay stubs you submitted with your application do not qualify you to rent the property at 615 Alexander Ave. Your income qualifies you to rent a property that is $300 or less a month.” When in fact I make 3x the NET income. I was confused about the calculations and asked for clarification but instead of clarification I was blocked by Barbra Boyd. When she could not justify my denied application, my gender and/or ethnicity was used against me cause it damn sure wasn’t the money.

I attended a few parties here but never dealt with the owners. However, it is a great space for parties and special events. The restroom for women could use some help. Possibly a new door, it's lightly weighted and opens from outside air pressure. The outside section is a cool spot to party too very spacious and big parking lot. Lol I am not a paid actor.

They switched to having maintenance be requested online, which makes things difficult for older people- that are less tech savvy. I've made multiple requests on behalf of my mother, and they have yet to address most of them. When I inquired about it, I received attitude from the person that responded. I wasn't even able to log in after I noted that I hadn't been rude, so expected them no to be either. I had to use the link they originally sent to create a new password. You don't take your time taking her money every month, don't take your time maintaining the house either. Edit: Months later and the issues still haven't been fixed, while new ones have popped up. I'm convinced they are neglecting the property on purpose. They are literally breaking the law by not properly maintaining the p
