Magnolia Coastal Properties - Barker Team Real Estate

We just recently moved to Richmond Hill. I came across Magnolia Coastal Properties looking at rental homes online. There were several really nice homes listed by this company and they had really good reviews. We were on a very short timeline for moving due to work circumstances. Once I reached out to them they were very responsive! There happened to be a home we were really interested in that unfortunately did not work out. However, they took an extra step and found us another property and were able to get us moved in immediately. The communication was good and the simplicity of renting through them was a breeze. Both Jason and Ashley have been great to work with. I highly recommend this company!

MOVE IN REVIEW: Overall can’t complain. Wife and I just PCS’d here and they were extremely helpful with working over the phone/email and setting everything up for our arrival. We’d even set up our mailing address so some things that came early they moved inside for us. The house itself was in good condition, they’d had cleaners come through that did a solid job. Some places could definitely tell we’re still dusty or the cleaners skipped over but nothing major. Normal wear and tear on the house from people living there and everything that didn’t work on move-in, they dispatched repair companies within the week to fix everything. Overall good experience so far!

We have been renting from the Barker team for a year after moving site unseen from another state. From the moment we contacted them to get information and sign our lease prior to the move to any maintenance issues or concerns throughout the year, they have made us feel so welcome and taken care of. They have had excellent communication throughout and resolved any regular maintenance issues in a timely manner. We just gratefully signed another lease with them and would highly recommend renting one of their properties.

If I could leave negative stars I would. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They don’t answer calls, they’re never at their office, and they might answer 1 in 15 emails, maybe. They have been managing our HOA since 2021 and somehow did not figure it out in 3+ years. Maybe managing an HOA is incredibly difficult and I’m being to hard but every single person that I’ve talked to that has an HOA in their neighborhood looks at me open mouthed when I tell them about the experience we had with Magnolia. I would not hire them to sell a dog house or allow them to manage any rental property I was associated with if they were the only option on this planet. Jason had to be the best agent in Georgia. I was contacted after my inquiry by the team and the experience from start to finish by far was the best I've ever encountered. Ive dealt with a few different agencies since I moved here and Jason was by far the most respectful professional realtor I've dealt with. He wasn't pushy or anything. He simply wanted to help and his efforts to find the perfect home for me was far above any service I've ever received. Just a awesome down to earth honest man.
